How Does It Work?

Smart Self-Serve Surveys

Sit back and watch while we guide you through a slideshow of what Plum Survey can do for you. Want to try it out yourself? Sign up now for a free account that you can use to login, set up your surveys, and reach respondents by phone and the web. Start collecting valuable data for your business or organization now!

It's simple and fast: add questions from a selection of 17 different types, record audio for your survey right over the phone, and tweak the graphics to match your branding. Questions are added to your survey simply by selecting from the Plum Survey Builder's list of question types. Once added, you can edit the wording of the question and its choices. Though synthesized speech is a great way to rapidly design and prototype your survey, eventually you'll want to replace the computerized voice with a human voice. You can easily record all of your survey's audio over the phone with the Audio Manager. No recording studio required! Your web site site design is an important part of your branding. You can make sure it carries over to your web surveys. You can tweak colors and fonts and upload a logo to ensure a smooth visual transition from your web site to your survey and back to your web site again. Not everyone is comfortable with the Internet. Not everyone wants to answer the phone. With the Plum Survey Builder you can dial up one and email the other. We provide the only do-it-yourself survey tool to reach the entirety of any respondent population short of sending someone to go knock on doors. The web version of your survey can be embedded into an email or a web site, or you can send your respondents a link that goes to a standalone web page. The phone version of your survey is just a phone call away for your respondents: they can call in or you can have the Plum Survey Builder call them. Upload a contact list, check off the call targets, and let us take care of the calling for you. Once the survey has ended, it's time to analyze the results. Sift through your responses to identify hidden trends, patterns, and behaviors. Run a report on all of your respondents or a filtered subset of your respondents. Histograms, pie charts, line diagrams, maps: you'll be able to display your data in way that makes sense to you. Instead of running a report, you can get a list of respondents based on filters of your choice and inspect each response individually. Filters can apply to the response method, the answers to a particular question, the caller ID, or the IP address. And if you already have your own suite of reporting tools, you can always download the respondent data directly as a CSV file easily imported into your favorite spreadsheet or database tool.
