Clear

In VoiceXML applications, the clear element is used to reset one or more form items. The clear element can be used to set existing variables to an undefined value. It can also be used to clear any block, subdialog, menu, record, transfer, or field guard variables, allowing the caller to revisit form items within the program. The <clear> element has one attribute, the namelist, which is a list of variables that is meant to be reset. This can include variable names other than form items. When not specified, all form items in the current form are cleared.
