Bargein

Bargein

in

In an automated telephone system, the bargein feature allows users to move rapidly through prompts, interrupting the system to quickly navigate to the next prompt. Setting this to true in Plum Voice applications allows barge-in by default, setting it to false disallows barge-in. If companies want to ensure that users listen to the entire prompt, it is recommended that they disallow bargeins. In VoiceXML applications, the interpreter typically respects the bargein property for both DTMF and spoken input.
