Programming Language

Programming language is simulated speech that is utilized by machines to communicate with other machines, write programs, determine both internal and external behavior, and allows for human-machine communication. Computers are the machines that primarily utilize programming languages, and thousands of programming languages have been written that enable different functionalities. Programming languages typically have two parts: syntax, which dictates the form, and semantics, which dictates the meaning. When writing programs, developers are specifying a computational algorithm, assigning functionality to a program through the use of a specific code. Popular programming languages include Java, Ruby, SOAP, Onyx, and CSP.
