Embed

An EMBED is a VoiceXML element that is used to embed content into a voice application. Typically, embeds function as a way to insert information that wouldn’t normally be supported by the program. The EMBED element can also be used to insert content that is supported by the voice application as well. The EMBED element is used to embed content in a highly accessible manner. The formats that embed would typically support are usually restricted to formats that would require an additional plug-in in order to work properly. EMBED tags are typically used to embed multimedia into VXML applications.
