Onsite System

An onsite system is an internally maintained IVR setup that includes an integrated hardware and software package that is deployed at the purchaser’s premises. All equipment is kept at the company's location as opposed to at an off-site hosting venue. Onsite systems are run in-house, and require the internal expertise of information technology professionals to ensure that the system is working properly. Plum onsite IVR systems are built on carrier-grade servers, optionally configured with spare drivers, fans, and power supplies. The telephony interfaces allow interconnectivity with carrier or private branch exchange (PBX) switches anywhere in the world using various protocols including voice over IP (VoIP).
