Matt founded Plum Voice in 2000, and now serves as President. From 1995 until June of 2000, Matt led communications, media, and technology investing at Baron Capital, a firm then managing approximately $8 billion of assets, and served as portfolio manager for both the Baron Growth Fund and the Baron iOpportunity Fund. At Harvard University, Matt received both a B.A with honors in physics (1990) and a master's degree from Harvard's Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences (1991).
Joel oversees strategic planning and serves on Plum's Board of Directors. Joel previously founded Phaos Technology in 1995, a security software firm that was acquired by Oracle in 2000. Joel received a B.S. with honors in computer science from Harvard in 1991, and was pursuing a doctorate in computer science from NYU before he left academia to pursue commercial product development.
Andy has over fifteen years of experience as an engineer and developer. He joined Plum in October of 2000 as CTO and currently serves as CEO. Previously, he was a network architect at Digital and a systems engineer at News Corporation. Andy studied physics and computer science at Harvard, from which he received his B.A. in 1993.
From 2005 to 2007, Leo served as Plum's CFO & COO, and he now sits on Plum's Advisory Board. Before Plum he was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan, and he is now an Associate Director at Barclays Capital. Leo graduated from Harvard University in 1992 with a B.A. cum laude in applied mathematics.
Mischa joined Plum in 2003, and now heads Plum's Advisory Board. His prior business experience includes a partnership in Lexington Investor Group, where he has served operational roles at various portfolio companies. Mischa graduated from Harvard in 1989, and received an MBA from Harvard Business School in June of 1995.
